Project Management Foundations provides a quick overview of the fundamentals of project management. It defines primary concepts, explains basic terminology, and explores two of the most popular methodologies--Waterfall and Agile--employed by successful project leaders and their organizations. It covers the five stages (Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring & Controlling, and Closing) of a project and shows how those stages interconnect to help complete projects. It provides a simple interpretation of a common Agile development cycle, identifying and explaining essential Agile concepts along the way.
