In this course, you'll explore the root causes of speaking anxiety and build a practical toolkit of relaxation and confidence-boosting techniques to help you communicate clearly, calmly, and effectively in any setting.

    Learning Outcomes

    Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:

    1. Define speaking anxiety and identify its most common causes and triggers.
    2. Recognize the physical and emotional symptoms of speaking anxiety in themselves and others.
    3. Apply relaxation techniques to manage stress before and during a speaking engagement.
    4. Demonstrate increased confidence when speaking in both large group and one-on-one settings.
    5. Develop a personalized strategy for overcoming public speaking fears in real-world situations.

    Course Access
    Participants can start in this course at any point during the semester. Once registered, they will have up to 90 days to complete 2 hours of coursework.

    Drop Policy

    Participants who are enrolled in this course may request a drop and/or a refund up to 7 days from the purchase date. Participants will only be refunded if they have completed less than 10% of the course.

    Grades

    In order for a student to receive the grade of Pass (P) and earn the credential, they must complete 100% of the coursework by the designated completion time. Any student who does not complete 100% of a course will receive a grade of F (Fail) unless they arrange for an incomplete. Full grading policy can be found under "Policies and Resources".
